Our client is in search of a dynamic HR Business Partner to spearhead crucial initiatives within their organisation. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role involves being part of a small, supportive, and friendly team, overseeing both strategic HR projects and the daily HR operations. The successful candidate will manage a specific client group and will be instrumental in evolving the Learning & Development (L&D) strategy, alongside implementing significant HR initiatives such as the rollout of a new HR Information System (HRIS). This position presents a fantastic opportunity to improve the overall employee experience and contribute to the success of the business through key projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discover and develop L&D opportunities across various company sectors, using diverse delivery methods.
  • Implement and manage an effective performance management process to boost individual and team productivity.
  • Supervise monthly payroll processing and checks, supported by the HR Assistant.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to achieve operational goals via effective people management, offering proactive support and advice to line managers.
  • Oversee the execution of key strategic HR projects, including the introduction of a new HRIS in 2024/25.
  • Handle complex employee relations cases comprehensively.
  • Assist in the review, design, and implementation of HR policies and processes that are suitable for the organisation.
  • Focus on succession planning and talent development initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Advisor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law and best practices.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the confidence to engage with all business stakeholders.
  • An empathetic approach, prioritising employee well-being in all people-related matters.
  • Experience in agile, fast-moving, and evolving environments.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with enthusiasm for tackling open-ended, ambiguous challenges.
  • A positive attitude and readiness to take initiative.
  • A curious mindset with a focus on process improvement.
  • Experience with HR software (preferably HiBob) is beneficial.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards obtaining one.
