SVP, Employee Relations (leading global sell side) – up to $HK 1.7m base

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure a positive working environment and compliance with laws and regulations
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on complex and sensitive employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
• Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and misconduct allegations, ensuring a fair and thorough process for all parties involved
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of fairness, transparency, and respect
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to address employee relations issues and develop proactive solutions to minimize risk and improve employee engagement
• Stay up to date on relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and make recommendations for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer with experience from both private practice as well as in house
• At least 5 years’ experience working in house at a leading financial services firm
• Open to relocating candidates who have experience working in Singaporean or Australian markets
