Based in Midtown, NYC, our client is a growing management consulting firm seeking an innovative and analytical Compensation Manager to enhance its HR function, leading through a major organization transformation.

 

  • Global organisation with offices across US, Europe and APAC.
  • Fast-paced environment, undergoing an HR transformation.
  • Hybrid work arrangement, three days onsite per week.

 

Reporting to the VP of Compensation, you will contribute to reimagining the current comp philosophy. Partnering closely with HRBPs and Business Leaders, you will be a key point of contact for job valuation, reviewing job architecture, salary bands, and designing total compensation models.

 

With changes in the organization's strategy, you'll also be responsible for designing packages for new hires, including salary, incentives, and benefits. Collaborate with external vendors for market data benchmarking, competitive analysis, to advise on governance and regulatory requirements, and contribute to year-end compensation processes.

 

We are ideally looking for smart data storytellers with strong analytical or advisory experience in compensation from global professional or financial services firms. They should have high business acumen, capable of building internal relationships and taking a proactive approach to learning.

 

In addition, we are looking for:

 

  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant C&B experience in Consultancy or Financial Services
  • Solid compensation foundation, job architecture experience.
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Macros.
  • Global experience; Workday proficiency is a plus.
  • Understanding of US compensation regulations and job evaluation processes.
  • Should be agile, creative and innovative in their approach while comfortable working with ambiguity.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data effectively.
