Based in New York City, we are collaborating with a leading professional services firm in the search for an accomplished Global Director of People Analytics, who will lead the human capital data analytics processes and practices, including HRIS, compensation, and operations.

This is a unique opportunity tailored for seasoned professionals who have led comparable global professional services firms through HR transformation and change management.

In this role, the HR professional drives the firm's growth through strategic use of people analytics, leading data-driven decision-making aligned with company culture. They excel in storytelling with data, leveraging expertise in people management systems and processes to deliver compliant human capital insights. Additionally, they collaborate with Human Capital leaders and the Office of the General Counsel to evolve HR policies and processes.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive people analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals, identifying key metrics and data sources for measuring workforce performance, engagement, and productivity. 
  • Align existing HR systems with the strategy, ensuring synchronization and working on reporting, rebuilding the compensation framework, and job architecture.
  • Lead and mentor a global people analytics team of 30, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment for continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover patterns, correlations, and trends in HR data, utilizing data visualization tools to effectively communicate complex findings to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on advancements in HR technology and analytics methodologies, evaluating and implementing appropriate software and systems to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities.
  • Clearly communicate analytical insights to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical guidelines throughout the analytics process.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders and business leaders to understand requirements and provide analytical guidance, translating business problems into actionable insights.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in people analytics, continuously enhancing skills and contributing innovative solutions to HR challenges.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in people analytics, reporting, and HR best practices is required.
  • Expertise in legal and regulatory factors related to Human Resources.
  • Strategic thinking ability and the capability to influence business objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills and professional interpersonal skills to manage multiple requests and interact effectively at all levels.
  • Team player with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Excellent leadership skills for managing multiple teams.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office.
