Head of HR Malaysia

We are looking for an experienced Head of HR  to lead HR operations across seven hotels in Malaysia, working in close partnership with the Area General Manager and the Hotel General Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Area General Manager and Hotel GMs, shaping and supporting HR strategies that align with the broader goals of the Group 
• Design, advise, and implement HR strategies to support the expansion and growth of operations across the country.
• Lead and mentor a team of over 40 HR professionals, overseeing all HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, organisational development, compensation, employee relations, and more.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture, optimising HR processes and ensuring efficient resource management.
• Develop a robust talent pipeline, engaging key talents and preparing them for future leadership roles through effective succession planning.
• Serve as a key senior management team member, fostering collaboration and forward-thinking HR solutions.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a degree in Human Resources Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Has 15+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in hospitality operations, with at least eight years in a managerial role. Other similar operational lead industries will be considered, i.e. Retail, logistics, etc
• Is a visionary leader capable of aligning HR initiatives with business goals and effectively communicating with senior management.
• Is data-driven, persuasive, and able to present HR initiatives clearly and effectively to senior management and broader teams.
• Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Has a service-oriented mindset with a strong focus on results.
• Thrives in a dynamic, diverse environment.
