Head of HR SEA - Financial Services

Our client, an international financial services organization, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of HR for the Southeast Asia region. This senior leadership role is pivotal in developing and executing the HR strategy across Southeast Asia, with a primary focus on their Singapore office.

As the Head of HR, Southeast Asia, you will lead and oversee:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business objectives and global HR vision.
• Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and development to build a robust leadership pipeline.
• Performance Development: Design performance management systems and lead initiatives for employee development.
• Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with local labor laws, and manage employee relations.
• Compensation & Benefits: Implement competitive programs and conduct regular benchmarking.
• HR Operations: Optimize processes, utilize HR analytics, and ensure accurate HR reporting.

Required experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or HR certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of HR experience gained working within an international financial services or investment banking organisation .
• Expertise in managing HR functions across Southeast Asia, especially Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of local labour laws and experience in employee relations.
• Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
