As a HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR function and partnering with various stakeholders across the organization. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of HR operational tasks, while also contributing to strategic initiatives.


 Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational HR:
    • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
    • Process payroll and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely payments.
    • Handle basic HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, updating HRIS systems, and generating reports.
    • Assist in managing insurance renewals, coordinating with insurance providers and ensuring compliance.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including department heads both locally and remotely.
    • Partner with managers to address HR-related issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure alignment and effective delivery of HR services.
  • Recruitment:
    • Responsible for senior position hires, working closely with Head of Departments to define job requirements and attract top talent.
    • Utilize various recruitment channels, including online job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Handle employee relations (ER) cases, providing advice and support to employees and managers.
    • Assist in managing legal cases, working with legal counsel as needed.
  • HR Strategy:
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.
    • Understand the compensation cycle and assist in salary reviews and bonus processes.
    • Have an understanding of budgeting principles and assist in HR-related budgeting activities.
  • Regional Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of the HR landscape in China, India, Japan, and Middle East would be advantageous but not essential.
    • Ability to adapt to different cultural contexts and work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.   

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in HR, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and best practices.
